I'm a self-taught developer who builds things the hard way, because that's how you actually learn. Started with curiosity, ended up running multi-server setups, IoT systems and a smart home I definitely didn't break more than twice. My stack is Flask, Docker, PostgresSQL and Nginx, all self-hosted, all mine.
When I'm not debugging at 2am, I'm probably plotting my next campaign in Warband or Total War, or adding another thing to my homelab I didn't need.
Because paying someone else to host it is cheating.
Multi-server setup across a DigitalOcean VPS and a home server, monitoring, VPN, IoT, and smart home automation, all wired up from scratch.
Type something. See what happens.
A web-based terminal with custom commands, a simulated filesystem, and real-time output. Built because I thought it'd be fun. It was.
I know you're there.
Real-time geolocation tracking of site visitors, visualized on an interactive map. Friendly surveillance, basically.
